Albion (1852)

The Albion, a British registered wooden Sloop, 60 tons net, 6 crew. After completing a voyage from Wales to Lerwick with a cargo or cut roofing slates, drove on top of a wharf at Freefield, then sank, on January 9th 1852, leaving only her deck showing at low water. She was later raised, taken in to the harbour and sold as a wreck.
