Alexander Fraser

Alexander Fraser (d. aged 82, Jan 11, 1830 at Portobello, near Edinburgh), appointed Vice-Admiral of the Red in 1819 and Equerry to H.R.H. then the Duke of Cambridge. Son of Hugh Fraser, Surveyor of the Customs of Lerwick. In 1788 he married Helen, eldest daughter of John Bruce, Esq. of Sumburgh, Advocate and Collector of the Customs in Shetland.
