The Anna Carolina (alternatively Ann Caroline or Anne Caroline), a wooden hulled sail brig, 300 tons gross, Captain Kurton, registered in Gamla Karleby (now Kokkola), Finland. While in passage from Gamla Karleby (now Kokkola), Finland to Liverpool, England, with a mixed cargo of timber, bones and tar, was wrecked at Hesswalls, Fair Isle on August 22nd 1835. The crew were able to save themselves, getting away in the ship's own small boat.
The Anna Carolina was one of two European wooden sail brigs bound for Liverpool, England that wrecked on Fair Isle on August 22nd 1835, the other being the Adolph Wilhelm.
