The Anna Luitzia (alternatively Anna Luetziea or Anner Hitgia), a wooden hulled sloop or galliot (the available records are in dispute, however the majority view is that she was a galliot), built 1837, 150 tons or 160 Gross Tons (the available records are in dispute), five crew. Captain J. N. Jager. Pekela, The Netherlands, or Lepper (the available records are in dispute), Owner J. N. Jager. Pekela, The Netherlands, and registered in Pekela, The Netherlands. While in passage in ballast from Frederickstadt to Emden, Germany encountered SE Force 11 wind conditions during which her foremast was lost, her boats were stove in, and she became waterlogged. She was abandoned by her crew at a position approx 12 miles SSE of Fair Isle on October 24th 1875, all of whom were saved and taken aboard the sailing smack Energy and landed at Scalloway on the 25th. Local Fair Isle men were able to take the derelict vessel inshore and anchor her near the Keels also on the 25th, but she subsequently dragged her anchor and became a total loss on The Cletts.

It is worth noting that mentions are made in certain parts of some of the records of this vessel, that she was abandoned and/or finally sank "West of Shetland", but no further details are given. The majority concensus of opinion however is in support of being abandoned approx 12 miles SSE of Fair Isle, and eventually sinking at Fair Isle.
