The Annie Bruce (PD239), a wooden hulled fishing lugger, 32 net tons, built 1892, Captain and part owner J. Pirie, Peterhead, Scotland, seven crew. While on a fishing trip out of Lerwick foundered and sank with the loss of all hands at a position approx 3 miles SSW of Bressay Lighthouse, during Force 10 S wind conditions on April 13th 1897.
