Anzac
Shetlopedia - The Shetland Encyclopaedia
The Anzac, a wooden hulled motor fishing vessel, 7.92 metres length, registered in Lerwick, two crew, split a plank near the bow and started to fill with water off North Roe on December 1st 1997. Her crew was taken off by the Lifeboat, but attempts to use pumps to minimise the flooding of the vessel while she was being towed to shore failed, and she sank en route, near North Roe.
