The Arctic Hunter a British steel hulled motor fishing vessel, 35.05 L x 7.62 B x 3.65 D metres, 273 gross tons, built in 1958 by J. Lewis & Sons Ltd, Aberdeen. Scotland, as the Gregor Paton, re-named 1972, owned by Boyd Line Ltd, registered in Glasgow, Scotland, ran aground in a gale and heavy weather near Mid Yell on April 7th 1977.
The vessel was subsequently refloated and towed to Granton for survey, where she was condemned, then towed on to Middlesbrough, England where she was broken up. Considered to be a total constructive loss.
