Atlas (1807)

The Atlas, a wooden hulled sail barque, described as a "fast coppered vessel with passenger accomodation", Captain Dolling, registered in Leith, Scotland. While in passage from Leith, Scotland to Maderia and Jamaica in the West Indies lost her masts and rudder during a hurricane and was towed in to Bigton Wick. She subsequently wrecked on the Ness of Ireland on January 23rd 1807, while seeking shelter in Clift Sound. One man was lost.
She had onboard an unspecified quantity of 'Black Bess' rifles, which were looted.
