Braer
Shetlopedia - The Shetland Encyclopaedia that anyone can edit
On the 5th January 1993, the Braer Oil Tanker, en route from Mongstad, Norway to Quebec, Canada, ran ashore at Garths Ness, south Shetland, whilst carrying 85,000 tonnes of crude oil.
