Charles Dundas became MP for the constituency of Orkney and Shetland in 1781, replacing Robert Baikie. He served until 1784 when the seat was taken for the second time by his elder brother, Thomas Dundas.
Charles Dundas, the youngest son of Thomas Dundas Snr., was born on 5th August 1751, and died on 7th July 1832.
