Greenwells Booth, Uyea Sound, Unst, was built about 1646 on a plot of land, purchased from William Bruce of Sumburgh by his natural brother William Bruce, on the west part of the of the quoy known as the Dutch Quoy of Sound.
In 1705 the booth was sold to James Scott of Voesgarth by Laurence Bruce.
