The Hebe, a wooden hulled topsail schooner, 21 L x 5 B metres, 72 Tons or 75 GRT, built 1853, registered in South Shields, England. Owner Alex Marshall, Burghead, Scotland, Captain J. Scott, four crew.

While in passage, in ballast, from Lossiemouth, Scotland to Sunderland, England, drove ashore on Fair Isle on November 25th 1881 during SSW Force 9 wind conditions. All of the crew were saved by breeches buoy, The available records are in a certain amount of dispute as to the exact location of the wreck, with both the North Haven and South Haven given as the location, however the majority view supports the South Haven as being the site.
