Ingredients
- 6 oz Granulated Sugar,
- 4 Level teaspoons Golden Syrup,
- 2 Tablespoons Cold Water,
- 1 1/2 Teaspoons Baking Soda.
Method
- 1. Oil a 8 inch square tin,
- 2. Put syrup,sugar and water into a large pan,
- 3. Dissolve over a low heat using a metal spoon to stir and bring to boil,
- 4. Boil for about 15 minutes until a little will set hard when tested in cold water,
- 5. Remove from the heat, stir in the baking soda and pour into prepared tin to set,
- 6. Leave to set hard, break up with a toffee hammer.
Notes
- When set it's full of bubbles, Honey Combed.
