Lerwick Methodist Church, known as Adam Clarke Methodist Chapel, on Hillhead, Lerwick, was built in 1872. The design was by Liverpool architect William Parslow, and it was named after Methodist President Adam Clarke, (1762 - 1832), who was interested in tne promotion of Methodism in Shetland, and visted the islands twice.
