The Petrel, a wooden hulled sailing smack, 34 net tons, built 1863, registered Lerwick, owner W. J. Adie, Voe, Captain R. Cooper, three crew. While in passage from Lerwick to Voe carrying a general cargo, was wrecked on Muckle Roe on September 14th 1897.
