Quarff Kirk

Shetlopedia - The Shetland Encyclopaedia

Quarff Kirk Quarff, South Mainland, was built in 1828. It is T - shaped and was designed by Thomas Telford.

The graveyard which surrounds the kirk appears to have been a slightly later addition, as the first internment is recorded as having been the sole casualty from the Jesmond which wrecked in the East Voe of Quarff on October 10th 1844.
