St Clair (III) (gross tonnage 3,302) Length 297 feet x Beam 49 feet.

St Clair(III) was built in 1960 at the Ailsa yard, Troon, was the last non ro-ro ship to be built for the North Company. The superstructure was of aluminium and she was the first of the North boats to have anti-roll stabilisers fitted. She was also the first to have chill and refrigerated cargo space, and the last to have 1st Class and 2nd Class accommodation. Her building cost was £1,000,000.

Her final sailing for P&O Ferries was from Lerwick to Aberdeen on April 2nd 1977.
She was sold to Kuwait, renamed "Al Khairat", and converted to carry livestock.

She was scrapped in 1987 at Gadani beach, Pakistan.
