The Kveldsro House Hotel, (The name Kveldsro means evening peace in Norwegian.), is a four-star hotel in Greenfield Place, Lerwick which opened on April 11th 1969
It houses the Gallery Area restaurant and the Cocktail Bar
The hotel is one of the privately owned "Brudolff Hotel Group", which also owns the Lerwick Hotel and the Shetland Hotel.
The main part of the building dates from 1870 and was originally the townhouse of the Hay family. The 1960's extension is unfortunately quite out of keeping with the original.
